Gateway to Sacred Knowledge Course

“Allah’s Messenger ( صلى الله عليه وسلم) said: The seeking of knowledge is obligatory for every Muslim” (Al- Tirmidhi)

This course is a 3-year introductory course taught every Saturday evening between 7.00 pm to 9.00 pm.

The goal of this course is to instil Islamic values at a time when Islamic education is in great need to counter the ills of society. The course provides a rich stimulating environment for the general development of the students. 

Along with learning the fundamentals of Islam, there is a focus on Islamic Tarbiyya (nurturing) by developing the minds, character and attitude of the students.

What will I learn?

The course is designed to cover the three main elements of our religion: Islam, Iman and Ihsan.


To achieve this, core Islamic sciences have been selected for study, such as:

  • Fiqh (Jurisprudence)
  • Seerah of Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم
  •  Stories of other Prophets
  • Shamaail of Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم
  • Tajweed
  • Arabic Language
  • Aqeedah
  • Tasawwuf/Tazkiyah

Who is this course for?

The course is for students aged 14 or over who wish to learn the basic tenets of Islam. No prior
knowledge is required.
